Ayton Products is pleased to be supporting Cambridge United Football Club with the supply of materials to help improve facilities for supporters at the club’s Abbey Stadium ground.
Under the partnership arrangement, Ayton Products has supplied materials for the construction of a new flat roof on an extension to the hospitality suite at the Abbey Stadium.
In return, and in recognition of this support, Ayton Products will benefit from an advertising board on the wall of the Main Stand and overlooking the main club car park, for a three-year period from August 2015 until July 2018.
Dave Doggett, Chairman of Cambridge United FC, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Ayton Products.
“The expansion of our hospitality suites is the first stage of our plans for improving the facilities for all our supporters at the Abbey Stadium.
“A big thank you for your help.”
Liz Slack, Business Development Manager at Cambridge United, added: “The redevelopment of the hospitality suites at the Abbey Stadium over the summer months provides Cambridge United fans with first class hospitality facilities on match day and a choice of experiences.
“In addition to this, the new suites can also be used as conference and meeting rooms during the week and both of these opportunities will enable Cambridge United to build a structured and robust business plan that will help drive additional income streams.
“The support of Ayton Products in enabling this redevelopment work to take place has been invaluable and it demonstrates how local businesses can work in partnership with each other for the benefit of the fans of Cambridge United and the community within the city.”
Cambridge United has started the 2015-16 season in good shape, with a win and a draw in the opening two matches leaving the club in the play off places in the fledgling League Two table.
Tony Hipperson, General Manager of Ayton Products, said: “Everyone at Ayton Products wishes Cambridge United every success in the coming season.
“We very much hope to be celebrating promotion with the players and fans next April.”
